For those in and near Bozeman. Tire size test.

I got my lift all done and am wanting to see if 285/75r16 (~33") will fit the runner. Just curious if anyone has that size or something really close in one of these options.

1. Old used tires that I can just have to test fit.
2. Using then on their rig that would be willing to come out for the day and put your wheels on my vehicle (assuming hub size and bolt pattern is the same, I know all Tacoma and 4runner rims till present still fit my 98 4runner but not sure about LC)

3. Have extra that I could try out then return like snow tires or trail tires.

This is kind of a strange thread but I want to test that size before I spend a load of cash on tires that don't fit.

Some tire shops will test fit a size for free. I did this in another town at Discount tire. Might be worth checking out.

Can't speak for the 4 Runner. But I did 255/85/16 on my Tacoma to prevent rubbing (285's require chopping the cab mount on Tacomas).

After going to Moab things moved a bit and my 255's began rubbing anyhow. After some trimming and 3-4 alignments it finally stopped. LOL
