Hey all. Time for me to "thin the herd" a little. I have a 78 FJ40 and a 1988 FJ62 that I would like to sell. Thought I would post it here first to see if anyone locally was interested.

Both can be used as daily drivers and both run well. I have done a lot of mechanical work to both vehicles with lots of new parts on each. Both have rust on the bodies but nothing major.

The 40 is set up for muddiin with front and rear locking diffs. These were installed by a PO, not me, but they work great. The winch is pretty nice too and is fully functional. Biggest items; there is a hole in the left front quarter panel where a snorkel was located. The rig also runs hot. I installed a new water pump and thermostat last summer but it didnt seem to help. I'd say it needs a new radiator. With current temps where they are I havent had to worry about it getting too warm!

The body on the 62 has rust around both rear wheel wells, on the back door, and some around the doors. Mechanically it runs fine and my son has been driving it off and on.

I can answer any specific questions and also take pictures on request. I have some other general pics that I took as well. And hey, you can always stop by for a test drive, or a beer!

Pricewise, FJ40 $10k obo. FJ62 $5k obo Best and easiest place for questions/photos, etc. ashtonremod@gmail.com

Thanks, Dave

Hey Brent, thanks for the call. I have a bunch of photos that I can send your buddy if you talk to him, just need his email address. Or he can contact me at ashtonremod@gmail.com

Like I told you on the phone I would really like it if the rig could stay "local." If you are in the area, feel free to take it for a test drive.

Here is the troopy....

Nice! I Love those!

I gave him directions to your place. I'll call him today and see what's up. I don't want to keep you waiting.

You need to pull off your ARB bumper and put it on there.
