SOLD as of 12/20. Right Hand Drive, 2B Diesel, 24 volt system. Purchased from Proffitt’s Cruisers about 18 months ago, when they did a shackle reversal, shocks, replaced a brake line and mounted the current 31 inch tires and rims. Since I have owned it I have replaced both batteries and done the normal oil changes, etc. I drove it back and forth from San Diego to Lake Tahoe last winter with no issues; the truck starts every time and runs well. 158,000 kms on the speedo. Legally registered in California until May 2010, located in North San Diego County. Would love to keep it but just had a new baby and this truck just doesn’t work for our family now. Not perfect but clean and very little rust - Now reduced to $10,500 or best offer.

Cool rig - wish it was in my budget!:crybaby:

So along the lines of registration, anything specific in registering the RHD in CA. You mentioned registration through 10' is that only because of yearly plate dues?

The registration is an annual thing and is related the fee. There is no problem with the RHD here in CA, and if it isn't a problem here I can't imagine it is a problem elsewhere.

Pics on the way for those who asked.

Thanks -

Drew

Thanks Drew...

More pics for those who asked...
Engine (with the old batteries)
Rear sill by the spare tire carrier. A little bubbling paint from some poor paint prep
Rear seat (there is a spot on the camera lens, that isn't a big spot on the upper right side)

sweet rig! I am guessing since it is an '80 2B, no power steering or AC?

Actually, it does have AC but you are right, no PS.

Here is a pic of the AC unit. Not sure if it is aftermarket or stock, I'm sure someone out there can clear that up for me.

Hey all. Thanks for the interest. A few of you have asked for pictures of the undercarriage - here are a few shots from the side and rear. Will work on getting better shots with another camera.

Thanks

Sweet Rig

I rode in that rig in Tahoe and it is really nice. Sorry to see it go. If I had the extra cash I'd bring it out to Denver.
