My wife and I are part-time dog walkers, and we have a Boston Terrier. That article scares the crap out of me.

Do you walk on man hole covers?

That's so sad. It's tough enough owning a dog in the city without things like that.

Salt in the roadways and submerged electrics are nasty. Had a manhole cover blow off in front of my office--luckily it was stopped by the van parked on top of it. Unfortunately, when the explosion started a fire, the van went up, too.

Salt = corrosion = stray voltage

Stray voltage + salt water = liberated hydrogen

Liberated hydrogen + sparks from stray voltage = BOOM

his owner's a funeral director?

I guess they'll have some options when it comes to burying the pooch.

:D :D

that sucks though...

I guess the other dogs didn't go over the manhole cover?
