Caveat, I've never used an FM/bluetooth transmitter in my 100, but I have used them in other cars before. Honestly, every single one I tried (I think three of them) was disappointing in various ways. That's actually one of the reasons I didn't bother with it in my 100 and I used a cassette adapter with the original stereo before I went aftermarket.

Oh man, just check Wirecutter (The Best Bluetooth Kits for Every Car Stereo). It's the ih8mud for all the weird junk in your life.

I have the 'also great' GoGroove, and it works fine. Handles phone calls, streams audio just fine. It's definitely not as good as adding a dedicated bluetooth module or replacing the whole unit, but then again it's like $20. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The problem I had was finding a FM signal that is not used. Figured that out and no more problems unless I'm out of town.

Thanks. The prices are what caught my attention. $15-$20 for most. I have a 5 hour trip coming up and figured it would be worth a shot to try one out.
I ordered the one Spike recommended.
I think it was $15 and free 2 day shipping.

just use a good tape adapter if youre not buying a bluetooth module. fm transmitters are horrible when you're traveling as too many stations bleed through.

I third this, I used that on my 100 before I replaced my head unit.
I fourth this ... (is that a word)
I had the same in 2 different cars, for a couple of years now. Once you find the proper frequency to run it, works great and even gives you the battery voltage.

Fifth this. I have one and it works great. Syncs quick and sounds great once I find an open station.

I've been using that same one Spike linked, it works well, has the least static, and really good sound. I've been looking for one with the pairing command voiced by this really thick accent chinese chick, lol, but can't find it.
