you SHOULD have a valve in the cap though that lets air enter as fuel is used but not escape.
This is the cap I’m running now. Is that a one way, in-going valve there?

I have 2 overflow lines going to the top of the tank. I originally had them level with the inlet on the tank but when I got to half full they became useless. I also have a vent line coming out of the pump assembly. That does not vent fast enough on it's own.

Rush, are you still using that temporary carport? Did the fabric last at all in the AZ sun? I was thinking about getting one.

Doomer, I was just looking through your thread this morning and saw where you added the two bulkheads on the top of the tank when you guys had to do all that other work. I’m looking to follow suit. Have to measure and see what kind of clearance there is between the tank and tub.
How many vents in total are on your tank?

The temp carport is OK. Best thing going for them is they’re cheap. I’ve replaced the top once. Need to replace the ends as the tarp material has torn away from the zipper in a couple spots.

Hey Rush, Do you have the outer fender off right now? There are two( I think ) baffles running down the fender, sandwiched between the inner and outer fender walls. I hole sawed some air holes through them as to not block intake air. Not really sure if it helps, but fun to do.

Something accomplished today…

Picked up this plus-sized engine oil cooler from FSR (same company that built the radiator).
The challenge was where to mount this thing.
After trying all the usual areas and finding them shy on space, found an area under the radiator and fan, with some factory mounting holes, where the old front splash plate, or whatever it is, used to live long ago.
It’s not the flashiest mount, but it will do, and everything is clear and out of the way.

Next to get nestled into its home will be this condenser from Restomod. Probably wait until I pull the doghouse back off for its final prep.
Other than that, it appears that the placement for all the new engine bay items is complete, which means that everything can be pulled back apart for paint.
