Well, what do you use for floor sweep in your shop? One of my buddies told me to just dump 1/2 gal of diesel fuel into a 5 gal bucket of sawdust. The only floor sweep I have experiece with was a reddish sawdust looking mix that definately helped pick up the dust.

Rigid shop vac with the expensive hepa filter.

You guys vacuum your entire shop floor??? Holy crap. I'm just looking for a home recipe for something to push around in front of a broom that picks up dust and leaves a nice shine behind it. Call me old school, I guess. :grinpimp:

STIHL SE100 Shop Vac.

Or a STIHL BG85 hand held blower.
They make shop vacs too?

Guess I didn't get too far past the chainsaws in the catalog.

I really don't worry about shine, I just put a little water in some sawdust and use that.

I open the big door, turn on the fan (swamp cooler), put the blowgun on the air hose and blow the dust and debris out the door.:hillbilly:
