Well I guess it is sort of under control....for now. Some people around here are working on the river bank and trying to stop the flow. A tree on the property fell on some cable lines but the fire dept didn't think it was an emergency neither did Verizon so its still sitting. Rusty is going to chop it down when the weather calms down so we shall have plenty of firewood soon! Thanks for being ready though everyone. We appreciate it.

HA HA I get it now! Rusty asked if you are offering to be the designated chainsaw man? And I guess I sort of asked for it saying he was going to CHOP it down. Ill be more careful in the future so I am not taken so literal

Hudyhue has a few that he needs cut up but if yours is a risk to a person, house and home, it takes a priority.

Well apparently it's not that much of a risk since the firetruck drove by and didn't bother to stop. Verizon also won't do anything unless the line breaks. Right now it's still resting on low voltage cable lines. It's pretty close to your place Dan on 210 and 198. It's rustys parents place. He will be out there off and on if anyone wants wood! How big is the tree?

I may be able to take a vehicle with a winch over and pull it off the lines and get it on the ground. I am working until thursday night so it would be friday of the weekend.

Well its a pretty huge older tree sort of like an oak but not? Its probably 60ft Rusty said. Since it's Christmas Eve Friday we will be gone so we won't do much until maybe Sunday. You can see it when you drive down 198 getting to your place.

Haha yep that's it. Just a little tiny tree right. No big deal or anything. Guess verizon doesn't mind it hanging around it's lines!

Rusty said he just got it cleared from the line so I guess that's good. Ran out of gas in the chainsaw so will be doing the rest some other day. Thanks for offering though everyone!

Thanks for letting me break in a few saws that I just rebuilt!

He was able to cut it up using his small saw all the way to this point.


The big saws came out and we finished the tree.
