I Was wondering if anyone would like to hit up Flat Nasty this Friday, or Saturday? I was thinking of just doing a Day Trip kind of think.. I have never been there and well I don't want to go alone... That just sounds like a bad idea...

Well that's lame... Lets go to one of those Rent-A-Jeep places and lets drive the snot out of it :grinpimp:

I am too scared to go anywhere yet. I don't have sliders on her yet. :(

Sliders are over rated :). I have never been there, so I don't know how the trails are or the difficulty they can be... which makes me not want to go alone... Plus it's always better to go with a friend!

True.....just dont know if I want to tear up my daily driver that much yet. I took the running boards off now so she has no protection at all on the sides now. Plus I have a new front diff on the way....might be here today. Mine is going out. Wish I still had my FJ, would have taken her for sure.

On a side note, there is a 80 close to my house with factory F + R lockers that I am considering picking up for trailing use.

Even on the easy trails there are terrace type mounds where you'll hit your rockers. Doughboy I'd recommend trail 4 the entire length past the campground, and trail 10. Don't go alone you'll need a spotter.

Yeah tearing up your DD is no good. We can't be doing that...

By the way that Celica you have for sale is bad ass! If I had the cash I'd buy it tomorrow! Man that thing is sweet....

So trail number 4 and number 10. I'll be sure to get to those ones first....

As of now it looks like I'll be heading there alone... Maybe I can hook up with some Jeepers and tag along with them...

I had a Blast at Flat Nasty. Trail 4 kicked my ass and I ended up taking some body damage on my DS passanger door.

I also met up with this Scout! The brakes went out on it and he ended up driving it into a tree...

Looks like you had fun. Did you do the entire length of trail 4? It gets rather interesting past the campground.

Did you find Trail 10?

I did go the whole length of trail 4! It was crazy after the camp ground! I'll post a picture tomorrow of my body damage I got on trail 4.... I didn't end up doing trail 10. I some how got lost and ended up on trail 19 and ended up getting high centered for a few hours! :o the owner of the park ended up helping me out! Ha it was awesome!

how'd your suspension hold up? Btw i messed up. trail 5 is one of the good one's which goes down the creek bed off the main road then along the campgrounds. trail 4 shoul have been a breeze with your setup. SO are you going to buy a winch now?

I'm loving the suspension! It's holding up fantastic! This is the second trip I have down with this set up. I am curios to how the OME suspensions do for vs the Slee... I also wouldn't have gotten stuck if my lockers were wired up and working... The first one was when I went to the Toyota Jamboree in TX. I went with the ozark Mountain cruisers great group of guys!!

This was my first time wheeling with the new 4:88 gears and I'm impressed! I am really enjoying them!

Yes I am planning on getting a Slee Front bumper and a winch sometime in the near future. I'll prolly end up getting the front bumper in a few weeks and a winch after GSMTR.

Pictures look fun, but it sucks about your door. I am hoping to get that 80 here soon so I can have a off road truck instead of using my daily driver. Otherwise I would have come for sure.

When you get your beater 80 I'm down to go wheeling where ever! Yeah I would have felt horrible if you took your DD and trashed it up... There is no reason to do that...

They body damage sucks, but no reason to get to upset about it... I went wheeling alone with out the correct gear to venture alone... I had an unreliable spotter who didn't know how to drive off road or spot... I was very excited to go wheeling and check out how this suspension does with the 4:88s... ***t happens. I probably should have waited for a group to go.

Which trail is it that has that long steep hill. MoJ climbed it and I was With extremetoy and he broke a cv joint in the front of the 4runner so we had to head out in 2wd.

That was an experience.

Is extemetoy still around?
