anyone going off road july 4th weekend? i have a fj40 and go wheeling often in FL. ill be in aspen july 4th weekend for 4 days with the family and kids (lots).. id love to get away from the fam for a bit and see some of the amazing off roading you all must have. if anyone is open to letting me ride shotgun pm me. thanks

I thought someone might have plans for up that way. It's still two weeks away so something might come up. However a lot of us kind of lay low that holiday weekend because too many yahoos are out there. Have you considered one of the many Jeep rental places? Also get a copy of Chuck Wells guide to Colorado 4x4 trails. Sold almost everywhere in the mountain towns. I don't know trails around Aspen very well but can recommend those around Silverton, Ouray and Telluride.
