Just threw some Falken Wildpeak A/Ts on my daughter's FJC today. The BFGs that came on it from the PO were dry rotted. The OEM 6 spokes were pretty corroded too.
The A/Ts are a nice addition to the beast. Spent ~$127.00 per tire on Amazon and mounted them on a set of 17" 6 spoke OEM alloys I picked up on Craigslist. Should do the trick for a while.
Has anyone found anything to prevent the corrosion bubble up/through so many of these OEM wheels experience? Is there any fix for these wheels?
Beginning to assume they are throw away at this point.
