I read somewhere that Toyota dealers were giving out a color matched scale model (either diecast metal or plastic) to all new FJ buyers as a promotional PR thing. For the life of me I can't remember where I read this on the web? Has anybody else heard anything on this and if not where could a guy pick up one of these ''little toys 4 Big Boys''? Be kinda cool to have a little copy of your new FJ sittin on your computer! Thanx for any info - Tim

If you google Die Cast Toyota FJ Cruiser, you'll find a link to an article by Automotive News from December 2005. It states that each buyer would get a 1:18 scale model in the color of their purchase.
Now. For the rest of us...think AutoArt die cast. Anywhere from $69.99 to $89.99 each. Toyota might get a break on thousands of them... Maybe we ask our favorite parts guy to look into it. I haven't seen any at die cast shops, or the dealers, yet. The web links only show the Toyota Blue, too.
Regardless, I'd like one...maybe birthday, maybe anniv...who knows!
