hey on sunday i heard that a Fj 62 was put up for sale, it had 200000 and golden it was an 1988, did any one from here purchase it, also wondering if any one knew the price that it sold for. was thinking about picking it up but it wasnt here monday :frown:

Hmm, I think I'm the only Edmonton 62 lover on here.. and it wasn't me. 200 000 km should leave it in nice shape mechanically. Mines up close to 320 000 now. Was it a complete running truck? If it was rough and cheap, 4wheelauto could have picked it up to part.

ya my dad checked it out, said tail gate/ rear lift was pretty rust, but the rest of the 62 was in pretty good condition mor elike my dad said less rust then his. 200 000km and running that thing is pretty nice, my dad is just about to hit 340 and was tempted to throw his plates on p and p one. 4wheel auto probaly picked it up, would have been nice for a engine swap in to my next 40 project.

the pick and pull on the west end has an 88 fj-62...is that the one?if so it's still there as of today.

sadly it took a hit on the right side, thanks to the retards that run the forklifts.right front door, and an otherwise perfect right front fender are now garbage.rear driveshaft is crumpled, left front spring is broken...frame is iffy.axles are still in place,as well as the wheels.left front fender, hood, and the grill/bumper are very good.

it's an auto,if your curious.it had a brown interior that was in very good condition...far better than mine,so i got the interior panels.seats are still in place.windshield is cracked, but all other glass is good.dash was excellent, and totally intact when i left.

i spoke to the yard guys, and the engine is toast...they had it running and it ground to a stop, with lots of clunking...otherwise it's intact under hood.

i went to pick n pull and i didnt see it but i dont think it would have been crushed that fast. where in the suv part was it. i did see the red 40 and grabbed some stuff off of that. but i wanted the dizzy, from the 62

I don't think the 3FE dizzy will do you any good, unless you've converted to a 3FE EFI in your 40, in which case, I have 2 that I'm not currently using.

it was in the "fantasy five" section...the vehicles from that section are moved out around thursday or early friday.

i was able to go back on wednesday and get the window regulators an glass.my 60 had been "customised" in it's former life, and whomever did the job was a hack.some sort of custom aftermarket power regulators and a really bad speaker install.

i'm turning it back to manual.someone beat me to the front hubs though...
