That's the diagram I used as well and also do not remember who the original poster is. I did not have an existing plug behind the dash for it but I have already ran all the connections needed for my stereo so I just tapped into those.

It was actually a still taken from a YouTube video that @HemiAlex posted. The diagrams are courtesy of @S.CarolinaFZJ80
There is a youtube video that I watched, and I couldn't get it to work.
I used the picture below and grounded to the dash frame. It worked for me.

Here are the his posts about it and the link. Posts #16 & 18I wired like this, your results may vary:
Dashlights- I used the cigarette lighter light. I cut the bulb out since I didn't care about the little ring lighting up. I used the positive from the harness as my light trigger
Negative- grounded to a dash screw on metal frame.
+12v ignition- Cigarette lighter power with a wire tap.
-12v constant was may radio constant with a wire tap. Also, I ran an add a fuse from the fuse block to the radio directly off of the circuit for the dome light. Its a constant on source, so its good for an aftermarket radio and this clock.
I can't imagine that I've gone this long without a clock. This and the h55f should have come standard on the truck!
Yes. PM if interestedDo you still have fj60 inclinometers?
