Sounds like we are on our way to a full-tilt, 8-piece kit!
Very cool Steve...

Hey Nuclearbeef,
That's not where that rear ac goes. That's going to be a good project!
Looking forward to learning how it's done.

man, I would be all over this if I can be assured they will fit for my 1970 vintage! problem is my truck is in pieces so they most likely will not be installed for some time, but I would like to grab a set now while they are available.

I hear you, I wasn't aware of your projectI had sent this info to a couple of local guys, one wanted a set and the other gave me the "I can make a homemade set for cheaper" response. I'm totally cool with people doing that, just didn't want this thread to regress there. We're a pretty do-it-your-self group and have to be since not much is made for these beasts, just didn't want to run off someone willing to make stuff for us
Steve is a nice guy, I'm sure you guys could work together if he feels it makes sense ...

The rest of my door stuff is dark gray, but my kick panels are black.
They might have been sourced from 8 different pigs, though.
Are everyone else's kick panels black?
Didn't have time to test fit the panels last night, but did take a pic of the clips included compared to the stock clips:
You can see they are shorter in both directions, and a little wider at the clip wings. Should be able to let you know how they work tonight. I've only got 30 of the 64 OEM needed, so really hoping they work
