A quick and easy problem....

I'm color blind and have no sense of style or of matching colors. I need to pick a paint color for my 45v wagon. Interior will be light gray, wheels black, bumper and brushguard black too.

Anyone have ideas? Let's get creative.....original paint is the off white Fawn color and I don't want it. Corvette yellow, General lee orange, anything is up for discussion.....

Please send pics and ideas. My non-colorblind wife can help with the aesthetic aspect.

Maybe I'll have everyone vote when I've narrowed it down. Could be fun.

anything two tone, but spring green would be cool

Mine will be the factory red/white two tone! Mike, do you have codes we can take to a paint shop? Is the white the same as the FJ55?

the codes are listed on that page ;)

T-1028 Spring Green
T-332 Seminole Red
T??? Band-aid
T-310 Capri Blue

I do not have a color for 45wagon white yet. We don't believe it is the same color as the 55s.

Red it is! I was tearing out the interior last night and the door panels are wood with vinyl covering and the headliner is 5 seperate panels that are also vinyl wrapped around cheap wood wall panels from someones basement.

I think I;m going to try to recut those panels myself and refinish them in red to match the outside. I think a red headliner might look cool and I don't have to worry about dirt, etc.

I'll probably do the usual white tone that the 40 series has....

don't throw any of the door panel stuff away yet. while they look home made they prolly are factory. www.sor.com sells door panel kits but they only come in grey. I got a set just have not installed them yet. every lv seems to have different ways of mounting the panels so save all your clips/hardware
still seeing if I can get free to come check out your cruiser this week end.

Those wood strips are factory and so is the carpet padding under the headliner.

If you are looking for a red interior, ColoCruiserJeff on the forum has seat covers that arthog had made that he might want to sell. He has been trying to decide if he wanted to use them or not.

How the hell did I survive without this website!!?? I don't even have to think anymore!

The wood strips in the headliner really look like home wood paneling with the stripe design inlaid. The door panels look stock and are a differnent type of wood.

I'll find out about the seat covers. That would be great if he didn't want them...
