Can someone please explain to me how FJ40 wheel cylinders are differentiated? I was surprised to learn when purchasing that you have to purchase front/rear cylinders. They sure look the same.

It's been a while, but I thought the main difference was that the fronts have the toothed wheel that allows you to adjust the shoes with a screw driver thru the back of the drum. ???

Adjustment threads are left and right hand, so that screw driver handle swings outward to adjust shoes outward.
