Do you make these and are you the guy that sells the same/similar ones on ebay?
 
These are burned out of 3/8 steel then formed and welded on both sides , made to handle the tow capacity of a fj40 you supplie the grade 8 or better bolts.

seems like it would be more user friendly design if you put the pin in the front of the face plate...my.02
 
I didnt even no how to repond to that except these are heavy duty good looking and most people have no problem finding the hole ..

Do you know if it will bolt up to a FZJ 80 bumper?
I have a similar one (same basic design) on my 80 series stock bumper.
 
A measurement from the top of the reciever tube to the center of the bottom mounting hole would tell you if it would fit. Bolt pattern on an 80 series bumper is identecal to the bolt patern on a 40.
 
The measurement from the top of the receiver tube to the center of the bottom hole is a inch and three eighths
 
I also have one on my fzj80. Fits great and ive towed 2,000 pounds to dump verified by dump scales.
