I've finally gotten to the point after the cold winter that my wife wants her garage parking spot back (and I don't blame her). My 40 has taken up one spot for 4 yrs, and my new "P" toy takes up the other spot.

Does anyone have a warehouse or empty garage (has to be inside) on the northside that they'd rent out for me to park the 40? I'd need occasional access (for those rare times I actually drive it!) but wouldn't be stopping by all that often.

Let me know... selling it is my only other option unfortunately. I'm cheap, but not looking for free :grinpimp:

Have you looked at one of the self-storage places? My wife has a locker that's 10'x20' I think for about $70/month. Not exactly free but the weather will brake soon enough.

I have looked a bit, but haven't found anything that cheap. Where is she renting from?

In the long run, a car cover will be your least expensive option. I checked around & general prices were around $100+ a month for a basic 1 car garage. No cover parking was over $50. There are also those portable car tents.

Unfortunately I'm not lucky enough to live in a place where a car cover or portable tent would fly with the HOA. I'll keep looking for an option that might work.

The good news is, I was kind of bummed but told my wife I was thinking about selling it, and she said "honey, you aren't ready yet"... so no ultimatum is coming!

I live near the outlet mall and there's a storage place just south of there on the east side of 400 so it's a little bit of a drive for you. If you're really interested In can hunt down the exact name and number for you.

look around though, when we got that locker they had a special deal going with discounted rates and a couple of free months kicked in. They will haggle a bit but if hey want the business they'll give you a price break.

Steen, I'll park it at my house in Charleston under a tent for free. (of course, I would need a set of keys)

Very generous offer but I've seen you drive :flipoff2:

Just thought I'd offer....LOL
