The truck looks worse in person.. recent respray, cut fender wells.. etc etc

Could be a decent start on a project though?

This must be the one Brock saw on the way back from having his :princess: buffed.

Jeremy

actually it was the FJ60 that got buffed out...not the FJC but thanks for playing.:steer:

back on topic...yes that is the one I saw driving by on way home from Myrtle Beach that day.

I know, :princess: means princess, not Mrs. I called it your princess because she's so shiny.

This might be that same green 40 that has been on CL so many times. The guy really struggled with selling it because he wanted so much for it. I bet they want close to $6500 for it and it is a 77' with just under 140,000 miles.

Tire carrier is on the right thought, so shouldn't that put it in the early 70's?

It looks like crap

Nope, someone must have hacked on a carrier. The turn signals, emblems, windshield latches, and rear crossmember/tail lights all are 75' or later. Someone just made an earlier carrier fit.

I agree this has been on craigslist and the rear tire carrier and bumper are a custom/aftermarket setup

It's a pretty solid hack job. Green paint over-spray everywhere, jeep tail lights (along with the originals which are still there), wack fender well job... I only had time to pass by it in the parking lot. It seems like most of the original parts were there however.

I could have sworn the green one on CL for the past year had diamond plated rear quarter panels...or was that a different one?

I just did a thorough inspection on this vehicle today for a prospective buyer. Buyer beware as this is a rust bucket that has been poorly put back together,Mechanically: lh rear brakes locking up, radiator leaking at bottom, upper t-stat housing has cracked housing, front and rear pinion seals leaking, front output shaft brg worn causing loose play in output shaft, transfercase leaks from multiple places, engine oil leaks from multiple places, multiple missing vacum lines around carb and breather area, steering center support extremely worn, front knuckles leaking oil and grease front disc backing plates completely rusted through and falling off. Body wise on a scale of 1 to 10 its a 2.5 But the best part of this truck is it has P/S.
