will this work with an edlbrock carb? what makes it specific to weber?

Good question, and to be honest i'm not sure if its only for Weber or not. I aquired this part with a purchase of a used Weber carb. The previous owner had the carb and this pedal/cable mounted on a fj40. I used that carb on a fj60 so there was no need for this part.
