Fj40 from Manhatten/ Erik and ???

Hey when I bought this 73 40 down in Kansas( Native american painting on the headliner), Erik and someone else had done some work to it in the past, Just wondering what that was, was thinking it was the clutch?? and brakes??? Thanks!!!

I replaced the clutch and throwout bearing before I sold it to Sage. Erik will have to pipe in on what all he and Sage did, but I know they had sorted out some electrical issues and probably at least brought the brakes up to par.

Thanks Trainrech, throwout bearing is goin out and we wanted to make3 sure it was replaced. I sold this to a buddy of mine who is really getting into the cruiser thing so, thanks for the help!!!

Man, I'm almost certain (not 100% though) that the bearing was replaced. That's been a few years ago, and I ain't gettin' any younger, ya know?

Did it have the disk brake conversion done to it before you got it?? Just wondering some info on that axle?

I put the disk brakes on it, they were off my truck. Small knuckle pattern knuckles, upgraded newer birfs, rebuilt about 5000 miles ago calipers, properly shimmed per spec with factory service tool knuckle shims, new knuckle bearings, wipers, inner seal etc. whatelse ya wanna know?
