I am back from our vacation and ready to assist in the relay! I can do 2-3 hours any direction from Vegas. I think I may end up meeting with @Reznugget or @DSRTRDR to get one of the batons. Planning on camping the weekend of Sept 1st around Flagstaff or Prescott if that helps at all.
We can meet up in Baker or Barstow and I'll be happy to snag that. But I'm only available the Sept 1st weekend to do that.
I wouldnt mind drivin around and taking off work. Im in the n.y. hudson valley
I'm in Costa Mesa, CA (Orange County) and would be happy to connect through SoCal.
@jetranger if you get the baton from @DSRTRDR or @Reznugget and are in the Vegas area around Sept. 22nd, I can probably meet you in the middle between LA and Vegas.

Getting closer to the Willamette Valley (Northwestern Oregon). My 40 is not driveable, but if some one else (non-smoker) doesn't mind a passenger I would like to ride along.

I can take it to Lancaster the 1st weekend in October, or up the Eastern Sierra as far as Bishop in the middle of the month.
Waiting to hear when it'll be in Vegas. If that's the case, I'll setup and prep to meet in the middle around Barstow or Baker on the weekend of the 22nd
Working on a pick up for the Baton still but I will of course keep you posted once I get it! Flagstaff would work if it doesn't make it to @kblomquist or @DSRTRDR first! Once I have it I'll see when I can hand off again and let it continue to work it's way west!
I might be available very soon to get the briefcase to @Reznugget. A quick trip now in the '76 FJ40 with a later visit (maybe as soon as the '86 FJ60 is complete) to spend some time at Canyon de Chelly and other interesting spots in his neck of the woods.
I have the Toolbox Baton - ready to hand it off over the Labor Day weekend
