The briefcase arrived with me to the Solid Axle Summit here in Ouray, CO. There are 51 stickers in the briefcase, but some have to be sent ahead to @PWCO70crusier. @POTATO LAUNCHER told me yesterday they all ended up in the briefcase by mistake at the time he had both batons.

there are 11 stickers in the toolbox - I intend to take one for myself :hillbilly:

who wants to take the toolbox baton further west from the Phoenix area ?

I only have this weekend to bring it somewhere within a 2-3 hour radius

so, who in Arizona is going to go west in the direction of San Diego or Los Angeles anytime soon ? or to a place in-between where another MUD member with a 40 may take over the next relay ?

bump

who is going to take the next leg of the relay from Phoenix westward ?

Where are the S California drivers that are on the map. Did they all move or just give up? Come on guys/gals, get that 40 out and join the expedition.

Hoping to get the briefcase through northern Arizona to southern Nevada via Kanab, Utah.

Sorry guys, we're leaving Monday, on a long truck/trailer trip... South Tahoe first... then the full NV US50 and the Ruby Mountains... unless, something else catches our interest... like Austin, TX, to visit friends and family.

To be clear, it's a long trip... not a long trailer.

It's too hot for 44 anyway.

Who scheduled this to hit AZ and NV in August anyway?

so, maybe the southern Arizona route could meet up with the northern Arizona route and combine ?

I can definitely meet up, but Phoenix is stretching it. That's about 6 hours each way in the 40.

Maybe somewhere in between?

where would you like it to be ?

I have to back in Phoenix by 6pm Sunday

That would definitely work, with a later split - one up the eastern side of the Sierras and the other down into Southern California.

since I haven't found someone to hand the Baton off to, it got to see some of my favorite trails today

Baton Four Peaks.webp

and, sticking with the Expedition theme: pulled an Expedition out that had gotten itself stuck in sand
