yes it is the clear one, i think it is kyosha or something like that, that has the really nice hard body but it is rare and a little bit on the big side. FJ40 Scale Chassis - Scale 4x4 R/C Forums here you can read about solid's chassis but at 250 dollars i actually like the rc4wd one for 130 alot better and soon rc4wd will release the one i posted with axles, tires, shocks, and driveshafts. i hope they offer it without the fracture motor so it will be more affordable. EDIT: i forgot that both of them are made to fit the tamiya clear body.

be sure to check your ring and pinion mesh in those rc4wd scale yota axles. i have been through 2 sets of ring and pinions with mine. truck looks really good!

Rims need paint and hub caps.

the chassis is a repop of the orig hilux/mountaineer Tamiyas of the late 70's early 80's, the trucks now sell for $800 (good shape fairly complete). They are hard to come by and even harder to get consistent good parts for.

I have built quite a few crawlers and would veer away from this type of set up (even though completely cool for scale authentic look) for something that performs, then strap your body of choice on. Ill try and post a pic of my truck tonight (time permitting). Rc4wd makes some really good parts but also has had a few failure that they throw out in public w/out enough testing for durability.
