I checked out the steering spec off of the Toyota website and was surprised what I found. The reason I looked is I remember our 87 Pathfinder was a dog compaired to our 89 FJ62 and wanted to see how the FJ compaired. I was surprised at what I found. Is this true the turning circle diameter is only 6" better than the Sequoia and worse than the 100 series and 4Runner? Hopefully this is just a misprint.

FJ Cruiser 41.8

100 series 39.7

4Runner 37.4

Sequoia 42.3

I think your numbers are correct, John. You'd think with the FJC being shorter than the other three and supposedly more dedicated to being an off-road truck, it would be a bit tighter than that.

Do you happen to know the wheel track width on all four of these trucks??

I read that spec somewhere too, but I flipped a U when I test drove an FJ last week, and I have no complaints relative to the turning radius of my 80.

Its not a misprint. I could tell a huge difference with my 100. But then I was looking for it too.
