FJ/BJ40 Headlight Guards

Some of you might have seen these before, but I've got a pair of the JDM metal headlight guards for the 40 (used).

Not sure if these were factory from Toyota or simply aftermarket.

The color/paint is black, but not sure if that's how they came, as I've seen chrome ones in the past.

It appears that they must be screwed on, so it wouldn't be for the faint of heart!

I'm going to ask $40, plus shipping first, but as usual, will listen to any unreasonable offers as well.

Shipping via slow air (3-4 weeks, non trackable, non insured) will set you back additional $20. (1 week, online tracking, insured, express air is also available at additional cost).

If I see no interest/offers in a week or so, I will either lower the price or try another means of parting with it.

How do they mount on an FJ40 as headlight guards? The headlights are 7" round ones.

Not sure if I can, but I'll look for a pic of them mounted on the Net.

They go "vertical", if you can picture that.

Lemme see what I can find and I'll report back...

Or a microscope, because even though I've spent all this time since my last post, looking for pics of the headlight guards on a rig these are all I coule come up with:

You don't happen to know which years/models came with those bezels? (I'm a newbie when it comes to non-80 LC's! )

I think 1981 - 1983 in the USA. It may have been 1980 but I have seen 1980 rigs with the round and the square bezel.
