Looks like Fitz is in need of some airbags. My 60 sat 2” lower on the driver side due to my spare. Air Boss Airbags leveled that right out.

Did Landcruiser things with a holiday twist.
Seattle Cruiserheads 4th Annual Christmas tree run was a great time. Best showing up yet with 12 rigs. More snow this year also made it really fun.

Not much work on Fitz.
New house projects stealing away a lot of my time. When I do get time out there I’m chiping away at making the space functional.
Put some lights in the shop.
Thankfully my wife looked at it and said you need more that’s not enough. I added a second and will be ordering a 3rd and 4th down the road. Added some electrical so they can all be plugged into the same box.
Garage door opener was next. I did the majority of the install. I thought that would help with getting the door open. I installed the opener and then had a door service place come by to adjust the door.

Hot mess in the shop and the first project rig. We replaced a motor/portal box on his car.
He wants one that is 4WD and has bigger tires and goes faster. Might be making some mods on that but we will see.

So.. this happened.
Thanks to @cruisermatt @Kleatus & @Beerfix for the quick sign off on the project creep.
$600 in on the LS swap so far. Parts will get pulled and this Burban (bad trans) is going to the local yard hopefully before the wife is able to see it.

It took all of 6 months for Dave to hide an entire car in the extra garage.Nice work Dave, Good find! Excited to see this LS swap get underway!

. I’ve had my second helping already. Once I get the driveline pulled and get this domestic junk out of the backyard things will mellow until next winter when I tackle the swap. I need to get one running LC before I take down a second.

Dang, $100 cheaper than my donor. Now your mission is to see if you can parlay the carcass into an NV4500
I’m hoping my midwest connections can deliver the goods for fair compensation at SAS. All the NV4500’s are comparison pricing for a new h55.
