Do you guys want to keep it easy and head up to Capitol Forest or would you like to head to Tahuya which is a 2.5-3.0 rated trail, but still very well suited to truly try your rig off-road. I open to other ideas as I'm new to the available trails in the area too.

Capitol Forest: Head in the Delphi entrance and exit at Rock Candy (C-4000 is actually connected to the B-1300)

Tahuya OHV Park: (The north loop is a 2.5 the south loop is 3.0)

Since some of us are still new to the 4x4 life, the easier trail at Tahuya would be a good place to start form what you described. I could be wrong. I'm up for anything, just need to get my truck muddy!!! :bounce:

I had a chance to play in the snow a bit today, can't even get the tires to slip, and if they do I get back in control fast... dang traction control! Oh wait, that's what it's for...

I would be up for something I'm new to the area. I would need some notice also Tahuya sounds interesting!

My son and I have been having fun up in Capitol Forest playing in the snow. There aren't any real designated trails though, just forest roads. You can find a few Jeep and ATV trails though. Tahuya sounds good. I think Elbe Hills is a good one too for spring/summer wheeling.

I'm putting it on my calendar now... count me in!

sounds fun. I would love to join all of you on that run.

Sounds like an FJ Cruiser carnage run! Maybe I'll ride shotgun with ya & take pictures...

Anyone ever want to go play in the sand at sand lake in Oregon or better yet florence/coos bay?
