Alright guys and gals after some time line issues on my end I'm pleased to announce our first ever wrench day. It will be at my shop which is Jerry's Auto Body 1159 US HWY 280 West Cordele Ga 31015 on August 21, 2021. We have a total of 5 lifts one of which is an alignment machine. I plan to arrive at the shop that day by 9am and stay till 3pm or so that day. This event will be open to everyone in the club whether you want to work on something or not. If you are interested in using the facility to wrench on something that day all I ask is you run it by me first what you plan to do/accomplish so that we don't have anyone rolling in at 9am and expecting to do a engine rebuild in 6 hours. Also please bring whatever hand tools you may have and think you'll need. we do have air and some "shop tools" here but it wont be enough for absolutely everyone. We will be doing a lunch of sorts around 12 noon and I'll leave this up to a group decision. It could go a few different ways of bring you own or we have large grills and kitchen here so we could collectively cook and accept donations to cover the cost or little Caesar in town and do the same to cover the cost. I'm really open on that end. Also for anyone looking to make a weekend trip we are only 10 minutes to lake Blackshear and they have lodging and boat rentals etc at veterans state park. We are about a hour south of macon as well.
