Fill Dirt Needed

Need to have some fill dirt delivered to the house in Mt Pleasant. Anyone know of someone that delivers besides the larger companies? Building a retaining wall in the backyard so gonna need the fill.

There used to be a dirt/rock company at Hwy 17N & Hwy 41. Used them. Fair prices.

Otherwise hit up Craigslist and search fill dirt. HTH

are you bulding it, or having someone build it.
I've built a lot of them, and will be glad to come out and give you some pointers, what to do/not to do.
I've seen lots of walls fail, but all of ours (some 20 yrs.old now)still look fine.

A buddy of mine and I are gonna build it. We are gonna use 6x6 with staggered seems. I may get you to stop by this week to make sure we are doing it correctly. And if you come by you better be in the Caddy!!!!

Did a couple myself...the only ones that lasted were ones where we built anchors up into bank a good distance from wall to connect to wall and not allow the pressure to push it over eventually. Good luck. If you got someone with a truck and a loader I have some fill dirt from digging our pond in Walterboro you can buy. I just dont have way of loading it and delivering it.

We are for sure putting in the "dead men" for strength to hold the wall from pushing out. I think I have a guy local who is going to deliver the dirt.
