Oh Dang... I been to some meetings and things have gotten rather heated, but anytime you take it "outside" it never works out.
It really is a shame that people can't get along and put stuff aside long enough to put their citizens best interest at the forefront for like an hour or 2 once or twice a month....

The government IS the people. Did we steal? Or are you refering to the representatives, that the people elected? I suppose that's who you're refering to as "the government".But remember, we use all those benefits that "the government" stole. I used the roads, I slept in a nation and state and city last night that I felt was protecting me, from theft, fire, health. I don't mind giving though. I'm a giver, not a taker. I'll give more, if i have to, to ensure a certain way of life. I DAMN sure don't want Obama's way. Or Hillary's way, or Berney's way.

the government isn't made up of even the average people. The majority do not even participate in elections. Not that it matters, because the boundaries are drawn in a way to guarantee the results. The whole thing is a scam.

I don't like taxes any more than the next guy but E is right that if you want a legal system, roads, a health department, police, firefighters, or any type of emergency services they must be paid for somehow. Don't forget about that public education thing either.
