I got a question, especially for you northern folks... Any of you have issues with snow weight on your 40 roofs? Even way down here by Cape Cod I had some issues with my roof. The first storm of the season the roof bowed in quite a bit, I quickly removed the snow and built a little stand to help support the roof as a temporary fix and used it whenever we got snow the rest of the season. I realize that a trooper has a bit more roof area than a 40 and there is zero roll bar in it currently. I plan on adding a layer of fiberglass to the inside of the roof and maybe gelcoating the roof exterior to help its overall strength. I also plan to add a roll bar/cage set up as well, but any suggestions anyone has would be helpful. I also though about somehow molding in some fiberglass trusses or beams that run the width of the roof, but not sure I really will need to with a bar inside.
