I have a buddy that works in a boat shop. I was telling him about my rusty cruiser and we decided that sandblasting and shooting fiberglass underneath would help fill in some of the swiss cheese that my tub has become. I figure I could add some reinforcing by the striker while I was at it. Then I could bedline underneath when it is all done.
All this would be done with the tub off the frame.
Has anyone done this? Would it be a good thing or does anyone have some insight in the matter that I may be overlooking?
