Chances are you have been seeing the Bureau of Land Management or the U.S. Forest Service put out notices for public comments on proposed fee increases. We are seeing a surge of these proposals across public lands for campsites, visitor services and other reasons. We want to ensure our members not only know of where these proposals are happening but how much the fee increase would be and what it would be used for. If these fee proposals are approved we want the agencies to use those fee increases to accommodate increased access and the growing need for recreational opportunities on public lands. This money that would be the result of fee increases from hard working citizens should never be used to restrict of limit access in any capacity.

With so many of these proposals in the works we found it would be tedious to do an action alert for each one. If you have concerns with these fee proposals, we encourage you to sign our petition below. We will be including this petition and its signers with the public comment that BlueRibbon Coalition submits for each proposal. So signing the petition will ensure your feedback is included in all of the proposals.
