One of my best friends up here died Sunday while crop dusting in Nebraska. It was an instant death, no suffering, he died on impact. The favor I want to ask is to help me fulfull a promise that I made to him. Sounds kinda stupid but here goes. Alan asked me some time last week to go to the Lucas Oil website and vote for a friend of his on some contest that they are having to get a spoonsorship from Appliance Zone. The guys name is Chris Wall.
Here is a copy of the email that Alan sent me:

Can you take a few moments to help a friend of mine "Chris Wall" secure a $70,000. sponsorship for next year. Chris races in the Lucas Oil, dirt Late Model series. The company Appliance Zone is offering the sponsorship. They have selected five drivers and those drivers must compete for the sponsorship. The competition is broken down by performance, a review panel and the voting. The instructions are as follows. I am asking you to take a moment and vote for my friend and pass it on.

2. In the top right corner, under Appliance Zone, click on " Click here to vote"
3. At the bottom of the page click on " Login or register now"
4. On the left side of the page click on "Register"
5. Fill in the blanks and click " Register "
6. On the right side of the page click on " Our Drivers "
7. In the middle of the page it talks about the $70,000. sponsorship. Click on the last two words of the paragraph that say " voting here "
8. Go to the bottom of the page and check the box next to Chris Wall's name and then click " submit survey "
Again, I know it sounds kinda hokey, but round track racing was to him what our rigs are to us and I promised him that I would at least vote myself and try to get some guys on the forums that I frequent to help. Thanks..
