MESA, AZ – DECEMBER 21, 2010:* ‘Tis the season for giving and FAST-Aid would like to formally thank all the donors that participated in helping all of the victims and injured during 2010.* “The generosity made us remember that we are all a part of the off-road family together,” said Jared Tetzlaff, President of FAST-Aid.* FAST-Aid continues to accept tax-deductible donations, donate today to include in your 2010 tax receipts.
FAST-Aid is the non-profit organization that has assisted eight families of the deceased and the dozen plus injured after the MDR California 200 off-road accident, an injured pit crew member at a VORRA Race in Nevada and who has hosted multiple CPR and safety related courses during the
2010 year.* “These specific events may be out of the light of the media, but we continue cutting checks to help assist people in their greatest time of need,” explained Tetzlaff. “$150,000 sounds like a lot of money until you divide it among all those in need including the families of the deceased, the severely injured, and those needing counseling for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).* We also pledged to set up an education trust fund for the children who lost parents with these donations.”
Beyond the needs of 2010, FAST-Aid is preparing for 2011 and a long-term future dedicated to providing financial, educational and personal assistance to injured racers, media and pit crews.* FAST-Aid is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that accepts donations of any size at any time, not just in response to a specific event.** Tax Deduction receipts are available.
