usually done in very sunny places to stop the reflection of the sun in your eyes of the hood. (doesn't look so sunny in the last pic though...

more about looks but also done to minimize glare.. no serious logic-rocket-science explanation behind it.. in short, stay away from the heavy stuf man, take a long vacation.

that doesnt mean that the pic was taken on a rainy day that the weather in my place isnt sunny. it even rains it southern California once in awhile. heard of tropical weather? i sure hope u have. chill. it's just a color choice. nothing to it really that needs justification.
