Been having issues with my fuel/injector pump, it has been diagnosed to be failing, is there a cheap ish/safe to vehicle way to help the injector but pumping more fuel through.

I through about using a after market high pressure pump to help with this and restrict the flow so too much fuel doesn't go through.

Trying to avoid spending a lot of money in the mean time so I can get the car back to a decent working condition

Might also try the I injector pump rebuilds myself, how hard are they to do?

What's it doing? A low pressure fuel pump in the feed can help for a little while, i.e. feeding the IP 2 or 3 psi of fuel pressure.
To rebuild you need some specialised equipment. Not in the realms of a DIY project.

any recommendations for brands for the low pressure pump?
struggles to supply fuel when the throttle is opened up

How long since you changed the fuel filter and what brand is it?
Have you checked for air in the fuel? Easiest way to do this is a clear fuel line from filter to IP

On pump, something along these lines
