Exo Cage for Range Rover Classic???

the exos look good on the dicsos and defenders, not sure if ive ever seen one on a range. I definitely prefer them over internal cages.
 
Having owned a RRC, and having just sold my 110, I must ask -- why? An exo makes your rig bigger, which makes it harder to get through tight spots. It makes it heavier, and specifically it raises the center of gravity, which isn't a benefit off road.

My RRC met its end rolling nose over tail off a snowy logging road, stopping 75 feet down a ravine. I had no roll cage, and I came out with nothing but some bruises and a few cuts on my hands from the windshield popping in. The top of the truck barely bent down, other than the windshield all the glass was intact. I winched it out and drove it back to the highway. I don't think an exo cage would have saved the body of the truck, but it would have added momentum to the roll.

As always, it's your truck, you should do what you want. Just offering a point of reference.

The extra weight is a concern and truth be told not sure exactly which way I am goiong to go. I appreciate your insight, will keep the thread posted.
