My RRC met its end rolling nose over tail off a snowy logging road, stopping 75 feet down a ravine. I had no roll cage, and I came out with nothing but some bruises and a few cuts on my hands from the windshield popping in. The top of the truck barely bent down, other then the windshield all the glass was intact. I winched it out and drove it back to the highway. I don't think an exo cage would have saved the body of the truck, but it would have added momentum to the roll.
As always, it's your truck, you should do what you want. Just offering a point of reference.
