I went out to warm up the truck today and confirmed what I thought I had been hearing for a few weeks now. Not only did the cold weather give me that timing chain rattle that I have been expecting to hear on cold mornings, I also got a cloud of condensation steam from under the hood as well as from the tailpipe. I opened the hood to find the source and saw the gap between the manifold and the down-tube on the rear cylinder. This exhaust manifold gasket is two pieces, right? How biguvah PITA is it to put in a new one?

Start SOAKING the exhaust bolts DAILY. Don't miss a day, multiple times daily... The more the better, and then you will still fight them...
The pipes come off near the cats, so it's not terrible.... but SOAK the bolts....

PB-Blaster is the only thing to use, no other spray compares... SOAK Daily...
