To continue forward with the 80 I need to replace the exhaust. Do any of you folks (Wichitans especially) know of exhaust shops that are a little more open to customizing an exhaust system? I have tried a few shops around town and they all stipulate that I must use their cats rather than the new stuff I already have. The other sticking point most had was I want to replace the two bad two-way cats (stinky, stinky) with a single three-way cat to gain ground clearance and reduce the stench. The sooner I figure something out the better, I need to get busy on the sliders since The yard has 2” square .188” wall (3/16” for you non-engineering/machinist types) tubing for $3/ft. Then I'll need a good welder, I'll supply beer and replenish gas (Ar/CO2 smart asses:flipoff2:). Dam formatting is not working again.

if ya want to drive a little for a great deal....boondock muffler shop here in osage city...this guy is a genius when it comes to exhaust systems...and very reasonably priced!

Don,
Yeah, I stopped by their shop yesterday and they were the ones that wanted me to buy two new cats. At that point I didn't even ask for a price.

Mike,
Where is St. Paul? ...ahhhh, not far from Zoo Blvd. I'll have to stop by there after work next week and talk to him.

Mark,
I will certainly keep Boondock in mind if the local Wichita shops won't do what I'm looking for.
