Erving/Lakeview/Northfield is Closed

I believe we discussed this a while back, but it is official, Erving/Lakeview/Northfield is Closed as per the NEA and Region D.

Long Story short:
Both locations are closed.
After walking through the area last weekend and then some research, it was found that the majority of what has normally been traveled at Lakeview is a designated Enduro course and NOT open to ATV or fullsize 4x4 use.
Aili will be sitting with the Unit Manager before the end of spring to formulate what other roads are available and most probabaly getting a road or two designated as 4x4 Forest Roads.

As for Erving/Northfield, the powerlines have several owners and over the last few years, there hasn't been any issues. However, before we end up with another that hill it was decided that we will consider it closed until all permissions can be granted.
NTC is working on this.
More word to follow when there is more word.

the good news though is Lane and I will be meeting some people about getting work started on 1500 acres of access that Yankee Toys and the NEA will be making trails on.
