I surfed the Point at San-O this afternoon and evening. Glassy, head high, minimal crowd and just the prettiest sunset followed by an epic moon rise. Beautiful Southern California!!

Beautiful yes, but if we didn't have fires it would be nicer. There was a fire close to our place tonight off the 91 freeway. Thank goodness OCFA knocked it out really quick. This was shot out our backyard.

Yeah but the smoke makes the sunsets so much prettier.

Scott, you suck. That is so much better than my evening. :flipoff2:

Was going to say the same thing.

Dave, nice shot of the donkey dick! Thankfully the winds died down so they got a handle on it quick. Always at the mercy of mother nature. :meh:

Yeah it was something to watch while i sat on the gypsum canyon bridge for 1 hour last night... ugh.
Took me about 1 hour to get to Corona, which wasn't bad. Green river had a ton of smoke on it.
Grabbed the camera when i got home and snapped a few photos. Glad it never made it's way over.
My gramps lives over off the 241 and the 91 above the Church... it wasn't all that bad compared to
previous years.

Yeah a couple years back that area got scorched pretty bad...... We really need some rain to help w/these dry conditions...... But I guess we need to get the fall season to start before we get those winter rains........... Anybody else tired of the summer heat???
