Is anyone doing engine rebuilds or head work on anything this winter? I'd like to help and observe as much as possible on a project like this.

Actually in process of rebuilding my 22re right now. Head is out. I just ghetto honed the block cylinders since they were already in really good shape...so no bottom end rebuild. Monday my engnbldr street/rv head should arrive (fully pre-assembled with stainless valves, manganese guides, oversized, etc. Should get the ARP studs in soon too. I hope to button it all up this week...assuming the ARP studs arrive. Already cleaned out the intake runners (man they were gummed up..going to go the route of partially blocking the EGR port into the intake...should keep things a bit cleaner and add a hair bit of power. this is kinda my beginner engine. Maybe I'll do the 80 next
