how deflating

Well, Ron Davis Radiator ordered on 3/21. Just got the UPS notice that it will be here on 6/4, so two more days. Only took 10 fxxxing weeks!!!!!!!

I wish SOMEONE would have warned me about how long they took. Just one person to let me know it would be like this. Really? No one could have spoken up? :flipoff2: :(

Ahh 10 weeks isn't too bad! Unless your truck is in parts and it is week 6 and you promised it in 4-6 weeks lol.

Nope, been driving it short distances everyday. Not enough time for the truck to get hot enough and leak all over. Now that I know its coming, UPS told me so, its time to start tearing everything apart. Can't...wait.

No that was the position I was in. Lol

Ok, for the 3 of you that are running/ran the RD radiator, did you have to remove the rubber spacers to get the radiator to sit lower? This radiator seems to be sitting up too high. Getting lunch so that I don't get frustrated.

Phil, what was that extra piece of aluminum for? Looks like an air baffle/wing in front of the top tank.

Bling covered for the same type of seal between the radiator and core support that comes with the original set up from the factory. Keeps you from recycling hot air from the engine bay (when sitting) into the front of the radiator, you want it.

From my research the RD being a racing radiator and expecting positive pressure from going fast they have a rather close web and for our application they might not be ideal

Any of you heard this?

Yes and in comparing what the fin spacing is compared to the old radiator, the condenser and the trans cooler, I'm not too concerned. Give me a few mins and I will give a per/inch count.

RD rad: 12/in
Cond: 7/in
Trans: 7.5/in
s***ty rad: 7/in

Ok I lied. RD almost double the fins. Still not overly concerned given my type of travel. But it should be interesting to see how it does slow going.
