Ok I've got the tell tale signs of bad motor and transmission mounts. In park when I rev the engine the car front goes side to side and when in high gear and I step on the pedal I can feel a slight dull clunk.

Could not find any write ups on how to replace. I've replaced mounts on my old Camry all trac so I have a little know how. And I guess the stock mounts are the best replacements? Car has 266k.

Bump. Someone must have replaced these. I can't find any threads on this so is it that easy to replace?

Trans is simple. Floor jack to support trans/transfer case and swap it out.

Motor - You'll need some ingenuity, some 2x4 blocks of wood, that floor jack. Unbolt a side and find a jacking point to lift the motor. Swap mount, lower, secure. Repeat on other side.

Watch wires and such and your fingers.

Good luck
