Sorry to barge in on your clubhouse here. I was reading over vehicle licensing requirements on the WA DMV site and didn't see an emissions testing exemption for vehicles based on age other than those registered as collector cars. Do you all really have to get emissions tests on pre '75 trucks? If so, how easy is the test to pass? Do any of you know how strictly the collector car usage restrictions are enforced?

Thanks in advance.

In WA state emissions is required based on county, it's not state wide.

With that being said, anything older than 25 years is exempt from emissions here.

Thank you. The only place I saw an exemption explicitly stated was under the collector/antique license, and these seem to render the vehicle useless if the restrictions are enforced.

Have you tried CRC Guaranteed To Pass Emission Test Formula (G2P)? After not passing the test I was adviced by my favor mechanic to use it and it worked! :>)
