I sucked one up last fall in the vacuum. So I finally got around to making a prototype replacement and it works perfect. Going to give it a little dark patina so it's not so bright. Smaller dimple for the position marker. Also going to mill a bronze speed dial because I am clearly anal and want them to match. If I can figure out the other two switches I'll do those too.

So I still have one original knob left over. 2009 LC. PM me if you need one. First come first serve. It does come with a catch. Whoever gets it owes me a large black coffee at some point. I do collect debts. ;)

I'll take it from you. Unless you plan on making more of those and offering them for us to buy :)
I'm missing 1 like most other people

It's gone. Didn't last long.

I'm going to tweak it a bit. It's just a 3/8" bronze rod with a center hole and offset dimple. I have a milling machine so its fairly simple. I used an epoxy putty that takes the shape of the flat on the mounting post. So it is still removable but functions like the original.

If I'm happy with final results and can make it an easy install, the putty part is a little tricky, I could make a bunch quick and cheap.
