Ok so I poked around about LED's that blink...

If you want one that just blinks always... ignition on or off the LED is about 1 dollar... and the resistor is a couple of pennies.

I'll tell you which resistor and I can order a bunch of LED's and resistors if a few people want them. If your too lazy to solder it up I can probably throw a bunch together for about $3 each or so.

If you want it to switch off when no ignition is on. I can draw up a bit of circuitry and that will probably cost closer to $5-6

Let me know if your interested in either option.

Also I was thinking of making an intermittent wiper controller for the 40 series... (and any other car without intermittent wipers provided it has working wipers to begin with)

Is anyone interested in this?

Basically you would add a button/switch for power and a knob to control the speed of them to your dash. I was thinking I'd like to be able to control it anywhere from once every 4 min to constent speed.

If there's any other electronic bits you can think of that you'd like let me know... maybe I'll want them too!

does anyone care if their LED is blinking with the ignition on or not? ... its way simpler if nobody cares!

what is the purpose of the blinking LED. I would love to get my hands on an led for under the hood and mayby a few on the bottom of my rig too. Are there any issues with being 24v?

ya no problem... have to use different LED's though cuz the ones I was planning to order were going to be blinking ones...

How many LED's do you want for your stop light?

so...I have a bigass light bar from a cop car and a controller box thingy that causes the whole; shock and awe, freak the s*** outta the yokels ,chuck yer stash in the river, blondes please disrobe....

that kinda action.

must have 500+ led's on it and a whole buncha switches buttons and dials.


think you can figger out how to turn the f'in thing on for me?

ooooh and also....to record and watch tv at the same time, does the vcr have to be on channel 3????

Yep best way to turn the light bar on is bolt it to my 40 ! ... i wonder if anyone would believe it then... haha
